Real-Time Whole-Body Vibration Monitor SV 130

The SV 130 is a plug-and-play remote dosimetry set for automated, unattended whole-body vibration monitoring of operators in vehicles. Built around the SVANTEK SV 100A whole-body vibration dosimeter and a weatherproof SD 311AW system controller, it measures daily vibration exposure on the operator’s seat in accordance with BS ISO 2631-1, without requiring any action from the worker. Powered directly from the vehicle’s 12 V supply, the set starts measuring automatically the moment the vehicle is powered on. Measurement data is transmitted to the SvanNET cloud platform through the controller’s GSM, Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity, where it is available for live preview and later post-processing within a dedicated Remote Dosimetry project.

  • Flexible Remote Connectivity: the SD 311AW controller (based on the Teltonika RUT956) transmits data over GSM, Wi-Fi or Ethernet, with GNSS positioning; connectivity is chosen to match site availability.
  • 12 V Vehicle Power: powered from the vehicle’s 12 V socket (cigarette lighter), enabling continuous in-vehicle monitoring.
  • Live Data & Post-Processing in SvanNET: results stream to a dedicated Remote Dosimetry project in SvanNET for live preview, secure storage and later analysis.
  • Weatherproof Controller: the SD 311AW is housed in an environmental enclosure with cable glands for reliable operation in demanding vehicle environments.

Automatic Start on Vehicle Power-Up

The SV 130 is designed around a simple plug-and-play principle. Once installed in the vehicle and connected to the 12 V supply, the set powers up and begins measuring whole-body vibration automatically. No interaction from the driver or operator is required at any point.

Whole-Body Vibration Exposure

A(8) Assessment to BS ISO 2631-1

The set measures the A(8) daily vibration exposure and the overall vibration total value on the operator's seat. Results are expressed in m/s² (RMS), m/s^1.75 (VDV) and Points, in accordance with BS ISO 2631-1. Measurement relies on the SV 100A dosimeter's triaxial MEMS accelerometer.

Operator Detection System

Force Sensors Eliminate Invalid Data

Built-in force sensors in the SV 100AW detect the presence of the driver on the seat. Vibration exposure is calculated only during actual contact with the vibrating surface, removing idle periods that would otherwise distort the A(8) result. This ensures the daily exposure reflects genuine working conditions.

Flexible Remote Connectivity

GSM, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and GNSS

The SD 311AW controller, based on the Teltonika RUT956, provides GSM, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and GNSS connectivity. The connectivity type is selected according to availability and site conditions — configured remotely via the SD 311AW settings (Wi-Fi) or by inserting a SIM card. A SIM card is not included with the set.

Cloud Monitoring via SvanNET

Live Preview and Storage

Measurement data is transmitted to the SvanNET cloud platform and collected in a pre-configured Remote Dosimetry project. Users can preview data live and access stored results for later post-processing. Centralised access means exposure data from vehicles can be reviewed from anywhere via a web browser.

Wired Reliability

Permanent Cable Connection for Stable Data Transfer

To keep the link to the controller stable, the SV 100AW is a wired variant: its Bluetooth module is replaced by a permanently mounted cable, its keypad is locked and autostart is enabled. This guarantees uninterrupted data transfer between the dosimeter and the SD 311AW controller, delivering dependable, long-term unattended monitoring.
