SV 307A

SV307A Noise monitoring station is the newest version of the all-in-one noise monitoring station based on a patented MEMS microphones technology covered by the life-time warranty. The SV307A Noise monitoring station has been designed for the permanent noise monitoring in all weather conditions – it uses smart solutions to control the internal temperature and to detect any hardware failures. The new housing is made of strengthen material that protects internal electronics: class 1 sound level meter with 4G and GPS modems. The SV307A Noise monitoring station measures noise levels, statistics and spectra together with audio files that can be triggered on level or time. The advanced triggering provides also possibility of the noise prediction to alarm the user before certain noise levels are reached. Moreover, with the SvanNET Service it is possible to connect to SV 307A to listen the live noise from the microphone!

In March 2022, the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) has granted the world’s first Class 1 Sound Level Meter with MEMS microphone approval to SV 307A Noise Monitor. It is an important turning point in the history of MEMS microphones in environmental sound monitoring.

The new version of the SV 307A has an improved external housing for operation in conditions of high sunlight exposure and low temperatures, a new high-speed 4G modem and an improved microphone in the MEMS technology with the life-time warranty. For the continuous operation the system can be powered from AC mains or solar panel and the large internal battery can power the system for 5 days.

Patented dual system check

The continuous system check uses MEMS microphones located very close to each other, such that all microphones are exposed to the same acoustic field. In case the levels measured by the reference microphone and the measurement microphones differ by more than a particular threshold, the SV 307A system check triggers an alarm. Additionally, the inbuilt sound source producing level about 100 dBA at 1 kHz can be used for automated or manual system check.

The SV 307A can be integrated directly with dedicated weather monitoring module or dust monitor. All meteorological values such as wind speed, wind direction, rain, humidity etc. or dust particles PM2.5 or PM10 can be stored together with the noise data when external sensors are connected. Moreover, the advanced triggering system can use weather or dust parameters for alarm triggering!

The SV 307A has been designed for a continuous, class 1 noise monitoring in all weather conditions. The monitoring station is fully automatic, it measures and stores noise levels, statistics and spectra. The measurement time is synchronized with a GPS. Additionally, it can record triggered audio in a form of WAV files. All is stored in 32 GB internal memory and transferred via 4G modem to the SvanNET Web Service, where data can be viewed and organised in a form of reports. The SV 307A uses patented system check to continuously verify the microphone performance and triggers an alarm whenever the microphone failure is detected.

The waterproof power supply is also provided for continuous operation in the field. Each SV 307A has its factory calibration certificate and 36-MONTHS WARRANTY CARD. The part of the kit is the new MEMS microphone with a life-time warranty.
