The 50th edition of France’s national event for health, safety and quality of life at work takes place in Lyon this autumn. From 6 to 8 October, Eurexpo hosts Préventica Lyon, with around 180 conferences and workshops and some 15,000 visitors expected, from company managers and HR teams to prevention specialists.
Workplace noise and vibration are part of that conversation, and that’s our field. We’ll be at booth L11 for all three days, ready to talk through exposure assessments, from a single noise dosimeter to long-term monitoring on site.

Geluid, Trillingen en Luchtkwaliteit (noise, vibration and air quality) brings the Dutch environmental field to Gooiland in Hilversum on 10–11 November. Municipalities, environmental services, consultancies and public health services meet at the GTL Congres en Beurs to talk about measurement, modelling, permits and nitrogen deposition.
Our distributor BaSystemen will be at stand 20, the same spot as last year, with SVANTEK instruments for measuring noise and vibration. From a full monitoring network to a single complaint, they’ll be happy to talk it through.

Europe wants more of its raw materials to come from its own ground, which puts metal mining back on the agenda. The sector gathers in Seville on 20–22 October for the sixth Mining and Minerals Hall, organised by Aminer, the Spanish metal mining association, with exhibitors from some twenty countries and a scientific congress alongside.

For the second year running, Alcobaça hosts VDS – Vertentes e Desafios da Segurança, an international congress on occupational health and safety. The 14th edition runs 29–31 October at the Panorama Multiusos and brings together safety practitioners, engineers and occupational physicians.
