SVAN 958A is an unique four-channel instrument offering 20kHz-band sound & vibration analysis (FFT, Octaves). Depending on an application, each channel can be independently configured e.g. one tri-axial and one mono-axial vibration sensor or four microphones, etc. In parallel, a laser type tachometer can be also connected to associate rotation speed. The SVAN 958A can be easily integrated to a production line via RS232 interface.
Discover the true difference between ambient, residual, and background sound, learn how standards such as ISO 1996, BS 4142, and ISO 16283-1 approach measurement corrections, and understand how background noise affects SNR, STI, environmental assessments, and building acoustics.
