This wireless Class 1 analyzer changes the way you measure. It's compact, lightweight design allows for one-handed installation on any structure using just a single screw.
The SV 804 performs fully autonomous on-device analysis. It automatically detects critical events and sends real-time alarms via SMS and email. With integrated 4G and SvanNET cloud synchronization, you have complete remote access to your data from anywhere.
Monitoring vibration from pile driving, demolition and earthworks on
buildings, roads, bridges and active construction sites.
Buildings and Human Comfort
Assessing vibrations within residential and commercial buildings to ensure human health and comfort.
Industry and Mining solutions
Measuring blasting operations, quarry works and industrial plant, with
triaxial PPV records for every triggered event.
Heritage & Historical Sites
Protecting sensitive, structurally significant buildings from excessive vibration exposure.
Environmental Protection
Assessing groundborne vibrations in protected areas, natural reserves, and other sensitive zones
Standards used on UK sites
The SV 804 measures to Class 1 requirements of DIN 45669-1 and BS ISO 4866, and records the quantities UK site assessments are based on.
BS 5228-2 — Code of practice for noise and vibration control on construction and open sites. This is what site vibration is assessed against in the UK, and the basis for the trigger levels agreed with the local authority. The SV 804 records peak particle velocity continuously and alerts you the moment an agreed level is exceeded.
BS 7385-2 — Guide to damage levels from groundborne vibration. Used to judge whether measured PPV could cause cosmetic damage to a building. The SV 804 reports PPV together with dominant frequency, which is the pair BS 7385-2 needs.
BS ISO 4866 — Measurement and evaluation of building vibration, covering sensor mounting, frequency range and data processing. The SV 804 covers 0.8 Hz to 500 Hz in three axes simultaneously.
4-Channel Noise & Vibration Integration
Expand the system by connecting an SV 303 Class 1 noise monitor to create a comprehensive 4-channel device. This enables the synchronized, real-time acquisition of both triaxial vibration and sound data, all managed through a single SvanNET interface.
The SV 804 captures data and calculates key results — peak particle velocity
(PPV), vibration dose value (VDV) and dominant frequency (DF) — in real time.
Instant Alerts & Data Transfer
The station automatically sends SMS/email alerts for events and transfers measurement data to the SvanNET platform via the 4G modem.
SvanNET Management & Distribution
The SvanNET platform organizes, visualizes, and reports on data. It also manages further distribution, including additional email alerts or automatic FTP file transfers.
Advanced Post-Processing
Data from SvanNET (including WAV files) can be downloaded to the SvanPC++ software for detailed event analysis and diagnostics.
Dedicated Software Solutions
Comprehensive software package for building and ground vibrations
“We chose the SV 804 mainly because its lightweight design allowed our team to deploy it easily across multiple bridge supports in a single day. Swapping batteries on-site was straightforward and kept our long-term monitoring uninterrupted.”
Operations Engineer Pipeline Construction Project
★★★★★
“The compact and low-weight housing of the SV 804 made mounting on heritage structures safe and compliant with strict DIN requirements. Tool-free battery replacement was a major advantage during extended monitoring campaigns.”
“The SV804’s frequency analysis and event-based logging matched our vibration criteria for sensitive facilities. Its long runtime, rugged housing, and seamless integration with noise monitoring made it ideal for remote deployments.”
